I love this picture, especially the fact that Pete is bein' all Kanye in it. Mavis's family has a similar picture where his cusp-of-adulthood mom is the only one wearing shades in her family's portrait.
Yes, Pete (and me) was a bit cranky when he realized he had left the sunglasses on for the photo shoot - it was after a long Thanksgiving day at the beach and we just weren't thinking, or I would have for sure had him take them off. He did write a disclaimer which I included in the Christmas card envelope until my printer ran out of ink and I just couldn't print any more to put in.

Yah. The Kanye ref. is nicer than Stevie (Wonder, not Nicks). I love this pic. It's staying up year round over here!
