First, two nights ago, while hugging me tight before getting into bed:
"mom, I just can't unhug you!"
And then this morning, in all seriousness, a final comment on the presidential race, the candidates of which he was quite aware of:
"I've decided to change my vote to John McCain - because he looks a lot like the Emperor (Palpatine, from Star Wars)"
Pretty smart kid, don't you think?

yes. very insightful. has alot to do with his parents :) maybe a little tv... but mostly his parents.
