Gleaming The Cube

Spring is here which means that the end of the school year is just a few short months away! This also means field trip season is upon us.

I've gone on two field trips over the past couple of weeks with the kids, and this past Friday I went again with Henry and his class - this time to spend a morning at the
Discovery Science Museum, aka "The Cube" for reasons which will soon become apparent.
Henry w/buddy on the bus -
also a good photo of Henry with his missing
two front teeth, a brief, memorable time in a kid's life.

What's that lurking ahead out of the bus front window?

Let's go inside and investigate....

Henry and his buddies ready to see what The Cube has to offer.

Learning about weather in the Magic School Bus exhibit -

Henry fixated on this Mars display because
it brought to (his) mind The Death Star

Every year Fan Yang, self-proclaimed "Greatest Bubble Master
in the World" performs his show at The Cube during BubbleFest.

Hey cousins, are you all up for this show again this year?

Wow. i don't know if Matt's recovered from the amazement of Fan Yang 4 years ago... I wonder if he still wears that sheer-sleeved shirt.

I love henry's toothless smile. My kids have always had one fall out and begin growing in before the other falls out. But right now, zach is missing both bottom ones. I love how they look, how they sound...

So, did henry lay/lie (I can never remember which is correct-I'm sure you can tell me)on the bed of nails? That is my main memory of this place. Fun times!
