Everyone who saw Harriet with her braided vacation hair really loved it. Her soccer team
even joked about having all the girls copy her for a team hairdo. She looked
adorable, and it was so quick and easy to maintain, and it really mimicked how she
likes to wear her hair normally, usually pulled back in a headband.
But within a week or two of our return she was ready to have her hair, with its many more styling options back. She was ready for the braids to come out. Commence: hair unbraiding!
I love how Jack was so willing to help her out - both he and Pete (and me as well)
took turns undoing the small tight braids that Speedy Judy had so perfectly plaited.
halfway there..
when all of the braids were out she was left with quite a unique style of
frizzy crown hair with straight ends
she played around with the style for a few minutes before
washing it all back to its normal straight self!
