Re-decorating

Sunday morning we woke up to this:

Pete and I were up past midnight, and slept with
the windows open, but we didn't hear a thing.
The van was parked out front instead
of in the garage where the bathroom
construction workshop is set up,
so it got covered. Pete's car was in the driveway and they got it as well.
(at least there was no shaving cream)

The kids were good sports about going out and cleaning it up

some theories on why we got targeted for t.p.:

the kids in the ward were teasing Pete
just a random target
"they got the wrong house!" (our neighbor's theory)
attention from the same people who "Boo!" us with treats every Halloween (still don't know who that is)
our tall tree in the front yard is just too good of a t.p. target

Your first thought is probably correct. My family got TPed a few times when my dad was bishop. In spite of it being a pain, it generally is a good indicator that you/Pete are popular. Kids never TP someone they honestly don't like.

wow. that is quite the tp job. they definitely had skills. my tp-ing never reached over 6 feet up the tree...

another possible explanation: they thought you guys could use a little help in the "bathroom."

just don't tell me pete made you roll it up for proper usage...

I think it's just cuz you guys are POPULAR!!

Bet that wasn't too easy to clean up . . .but i guess that's a small price to pay for . . . popularity!!
